The NexgenRx   management team has a proven track record in the Drug, Dental and Extended Health benefits industry as well as in financial, medical, pharmaceutical and technical fields.

Ronald C. Loucks – Founder, President & CEO, Director

Founded the NexgenRx™   Inc. in March 2003.

Ron has spent his entire career in the benefits industry including roles in group sales with Maritime Life /John Hancock, consulting with Mercer and various operational and strategic senior management roles.

Ron was a member of the founding management team of Assure Health where he was Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, from May 1989 through October 1999. Upon the sale of Assure Health to BCE Emergis., he was named Executive Vice-President, e-Health North America, from November 1999 through February 2002.

Ron served as a member of the Board of Governors of McMaster University for 12 years as well as a Director of ThinkFirst Canada, an organization dedicated to brain and spinal cord injury prevention. Ron was a member of the Foundation of the YMCA de Montréal, and past President of the Alumni Association of Lower Canada College.

Thomas F. Corcoran, P.Eng., MBA, ICD.D – Director, Chairman of the Board

Tom is the former Vice President and Managing Director of Canada Life Assurance Company's Group Insurance business units in Canada (1997 to 2002) and the United Kingdom (2002 to 2004). Mr. Corcoran has served on a number of corporate boards and is currently the board Chair of NexgenRx Inc.; Board Chair Memotext Corporation; Director, ArtsandTV Inc.; Director LifeCapital Holdings Inc.. He is also the Chair of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) Ontario Chapter.
On the community service front, Mr. Corcoran serves as Chair, Health Professions Regulatory Advisory Council (Ontario). He has been Chairman of Bridgepoint Hospital; Chair of Bridgepoint Health Foundation; Chair, Crescent School; Governor, University of Waterloo; Chair, University of Waterloo President's Advisory Council; Chair, Ontario Chamber of Commerce; director, National Ballet of Canada

 

Kelly Elher – CFO

Kelly is a forward thinking, collaborative, CPA, CA that has held the roles of CEO, audit committee chair and CFO. Utilizing his experience in start-ups to billion dollar public companies from domestic to foreign, Kelly leads the NexgenRx financial department.


 

Lily Martino – VP Sales

Lily leads the sales effort and is responsible for new business and retention of existing clients. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in key areas of strategic planning, sales, proposal pricing, client presentations and client relationship management. 

Ronald Stubbington - Director, IT Operations
 

Over 25 years experience in the IT industry including roles in development, database management and systems management. Had a key role as the database and design architect of the NexgenRx™   Reporting and Back End processing systems.   

 

 

 

Andrew Munroe - Director, Operations

Andrew has over 20 years’ experience working within the insurance industry. His knowledge in the insurance and benefits management industries covers areas such as administrative/adjudication systems, cost containment, group health, specialty insurance program management, stop loss and travel insurance is an asset to NexgenRx. Responsible to manage NexgenRx’s Operations department, Andrew leads both internal and client facing teams with an objective to continually improve efficiencies. He also assists with the acquisition of clients and strategic partners such as benefit consultants and insurance brokerages/MGAs, insurance carriers, pharmacy patient assistance programs and TPAs/TPPs.

BJ Padda - Director, Implementation

BJ is a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) & Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LGBC) and leverages his attention to detail in NexgenRx’s onboarding process. BJ leads the Implementation team and has responsibility for various technical reporting. Bj Padda has over 22 years in the Health Insurance Industry including roles as Client Service Manager and  Senior Project Manager. BJ worked 20 years at TELUS Health with 15 years as a accomplished, results-oriented Senior Project Manager directing large scale projects.

Margaret Ingram, B.Sc., R.Ph., M.H.P.

Manager, Pharmacy Services

·        8 years Formulary Management experience with a leading Pharmacy Benefit Management company

·        9 years as a staff pharmacist at McMaster Medical Centre in Hamilton

·        Sessional lecturer at Mohawk College Pharmacy Assistant program

·        Community pharmacy work in Canada and in Scotland

·        Extensive experience in pricing issues, employee education materials, retrospective reporting and implementing Trial, Maintenance and Prior Authorization programs
